Introduction
This Privacy Policy sets forth the privacy practices of all AirwaySim services (including for example the website, software, forums and corporation). These are commonly referred here as the "Service".
In this document we describe how we collect, disclose, store, transfer and use information that could individually identify our users ("Personal Data") in connection with our Service. By using our Service, you accept the privacy practices described in this Policy.
Information we collect
We collect different types of information from or through the Service. Most of the data we collect is provided directly by you (e.g. during account registration), or automatically when you use our Service (e.g. statistical and log information). The legal basis for collection and processing of Personal Data are primarily that the processing is necessary for providing the Service to you in accordance with our Terms of Service.
We collect the following Personal Data from you in connection with the Service:
- Account information:
We collect personally identifiable information about you when you register for a user account. In the registration process you must select at least an username and provide a functioning email address and select your country of residence. All other user profile information is optional. E-mail address used in your account profile is not visible to other users. We also collect some technical information such as IP address and chosen password. This information is required for example to authenticate you when you log in to the Service.
- User content:
This Service makes chat rooms and/or message boards available to its users. Using them and posting any messages to them is voluntary. We store any information you choose to submit to this part of our Service, and you should remember that any information disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any personal information there.
- Automatic and Logged data:
Our Service collects automatically information about how a person uses our Service, such as IP addresses, device and browser type, operating system and the pages or features of our Service to which a user browsed. This information is securely logged for statistical and debug purposes, and some parts of this data may be personally identifiable.
- Cookies:
Technologies such as cookies are being utilized on our website. They are used to remember relevant user settings for technical authentication purposes (e.g. enabling you to log in to the Service). Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you are still allowed to use the Service, but your ability to use some features or access some areas may be limited (for example logging in to your account may not be possible due to technical reasons).
- Payment information:
If you choose to purchase a product from our Service, our third-party payment processors will collect your payment information. This data (i.e. credit card details, or similar sensitive information) is not transmitted to our Service, nor stored at our Service.
- Data by third-party services:
We utilize various third-party systems on our Service and these may collect Personal Data. For details please see the relevant sub-chapter of this Privacy Policy.
How we use the information we collect
Our purpose of collecting any Personal Data is to provide the Service to you. This includes the operation, maintaining and enhancement of our Service.
We do not send any promotional emails, unless you have opted-in to receive them. All promotions will be sent in the form of our newsletter, sent at approximately once a month. You may opt-out of the newsletter at any time from your account settings or by clicking a link in the e-mail newsletter itself.
We may send you occasional service related emails related to your account status. These may include for example one-time reminders of your account balance, or other relevant reminders to keep your account functional. In addition to these we may use your e-mail address to contact you if (a) you have contacted us first with a query, (b) for administrative purposes such as violation of our Terms. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt out of them by closing your account.
To whom we disclose the information

These third parties may have access to Personal Data as part of providing those services for us. We limit the information provided to these service providers to what is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and our contracts with them require them to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
- Law enforcement:
We may disclose Personal Data or other such information if required to do so by law. We also reserve the right to disclose Personal Data or other such information that we believe, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to (a) take precautions against liability, (b) protect ourselves or others from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses or activity, (c) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, (d) protect the security or integrity of the Service, or (e) protect our property or other legal rights, enforce our contracts, or protect the rights, property, or safety of others.
- Change of ownership:
Any data, including Personal Data, may be transferred to an acquirer or successor as part of any business merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction. If you believe that any Personal Data we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, and you are unable to correct it directly by using our Service, you can request that we correct or supplement such data.
You can request that we erase some or all of your Personal Data from our systems. You have also the right to withdraw your consent for us to store or use your Personal Data at any time. Please note that if you request the deletion of information required to provide the Service to you, or you decline the data processing or usage, your user account will be deactivated and you will lose access to the Service.
Please note that while any changes you or we make will be reflected in active user databases instantly, we may retain information you submit for the purpose of backups, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.
How we protect the information
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Data.
- Operating culture:
We maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized access or any such misuse. This includes, for example, firewalls, password protection and other access and authentication controls. Our Service uses SSL technology to encrypt data during transmission through public internet.
- Datacenters:
The datacenters of the Service are located within the European Union, and we will not transfer information, including Personal Data, to a country outside of the European Union or European Economic Area. The physical access to the datacenters and the server computers is limited only to authorized persons.

If you choose to make a purchase at our Service you will be using the payment service of one of our third-party payment processors. All of these service providers are carefully selected and comply with the industry standard security practices (for example the PCI DSS, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, where applicable). These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes than to facilitate your purchase with our Service. Our Service does not receive your credit card information or any other volatile payment details.
However, despite of all precautions no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Thus we cannot warrant the full and absolute security of any information you transmit to us, and therefore you do so at your own risk. If you believe your Personal Data has been compromised, please contact us.
