The next epic-length AirwaySim's airline simulation scenario, Airline Generations, opens on Friday February 26th.
This is one of our three concurrent epic-length airline sim scenarios, starting in the 1950s and running all the way into year 2035. An ultimate challenge for virtual airline managers!
This game world follows the standard settings for long AirwaySim games:
The scenario has slightly adjusted settings compared to the History and the Future scenario which started in late 2020: The amount of airport slots will be slightly higher throughout the entire game, but the amount of used aircraft in the game start in 1955 will be somewhat lower compared to a standard setup.
This scenario will open at approximately 14 UTC on Friday February 26th. Click on the link to pre-join this game now!

AirwaySim has always two concurrent Beginner's World scenarios running (BW#1 and BW#2). They both use the same settings and same time frame.
Our beginner game series is aimed for all newbies and other players wishing to test different playing styles in an easier environment. Duration of one scenario is always approximately 60 real days. The scenario runs for ~10 game years with a speed of 25 minutes per day, and all of AirwaySim's main features are included in these scenarios.
When a BW scenario ends, a new one will start within a few days. The two scenarios are running in parallel so that there is always one BW scenario start every month.
The Airline Generations epic-length game world has ended over 1.5 years of continuous running. A total of 89 players finished the game, and 17 of them made it all the way through 1955 to 2035!
The next game world with the same name and theme will begin on Friday 26th February!

Brexit, UK leaving the EU, seems now to be really actually happening.
Just a quick word to our UK users to let them know that this does not have any effect in their AirwaySim user accounts or costs of usage. The price of AirwaySim Credits is the same regardless if the user lives in EU or not (the taxation rules for UK customers will change after UK leaves the EU but this will not change the prices of the Credits for you).
The model of the Brexit to the simulation itself will be thought after it's clear what the new rules and regulations in aviation actually are.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all virtual airline managers at AirwaySim!
This past year has been exceptional in many aspects, and many of us had to adapt to a new world. Many of AirwaySim's plans for this year also changed, but rest assured, AirwaySim will continue to evolve and be with you also in the future.
A big thank you for everyone who have participated in our simulations this year, and hope to see you with us also during 2021!
Be sure to subscribe to our Facebook page for the latest updates, and join our Discord chat to meet other AirwaySim's airline managers.
The traditional holiday discount code is also here again: The code XMAS20 will give you a 15% discount from all Credits purchases until Dec 28th 23.59 UTC.

The Speed World game has now no more restrictions on your airline's base airports, and you can now expand to any airport in the world.
The move to the new server is expected to happen tomorrow, December 1st, at about 08 UTC and it will take about 1-2 hours. During this time all AirwaySim services will be unavailable.
Update: The maintenance is now complete!
AirwaySim's web server system will be upgraded soon. We're moving the services to new dedicated web servers which will provide a bit more speed and resources to our needs for the future.
During the upgrade all games will be paused and website will be unaccessible for approximately 1-2 hours. The update is planned for the upcoming week (30th Nov - 6th Dec) but the exact date will be announced once all preparations are done.
We will continue to use the same ISP and same datacenter as we have for the past three years, and this upgrade is simply a switch to a more up-to-date hardware.
